Abstract: MEFMI seeks to contribute towards sustainable poverty reduction process and improvement of governance in key areas of macro-eonomic and financial management in the public sector. The scope of the institution is on macro-economic management, financial sector management and sovereign debt management. MEFMI is a regionally owned institute with 13 member countries (Angola, Botswana, Kenya, Lesotho, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, Rwanda, Swaziland, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia and Zimbabwe.
