Creator: Diané, Mamadi Baba
Abstract: One of the main sites about the scripture and movement of N'ko, scripture invented by Guinean Solomana Kante in 1949 for the Mande languages. In order to view the site cirrectly, you have to download some special fonts. The site is a little bit chaotic. The following links are of special interest: "Kafa Lu Serede" (an extensiv list of over 100 books in N'ko), "Kanté" (Songs of Souleymane Kanté and other texts in French and English, among others from N'ko researcher Diane Oyler), "Écriture N'ko" and "Contacts" (contacts to representatives all over the world). The author of the site, Diané, is a professor for N'ko at the University of Al-Azhar in Cairo since 2003. [editors ilissAfrica]
