Title: The Copy/South Research Group
Creator: CopySouth; Story, Alan
Abstract: The network CopySouth, which was initiated by Prof. Story of the University of Kent (Kent Law School) among others, analyses international copyright questions critically. The focus is on the relationship between "the North" ("The West") and "the South" (so called developping countries) and the question, which disadvantages the mostly Western style copyright has for the countries in "the South". The website provides you with a lot of fulltext documents and campaign posters about the following topics: Access to Information / Freedom of Information / Right to Information, Intellectual Property / Copyright, digital divide and much more.
