Abstract: Namibia Red Cross Society was established in 1992 by an Act of Parliament. Its mission is to improve the lives of vulnerable people by mobilizing the power of humanity. "Over the years, the Namibia Red Cross Society has effectively responded to national disasters such as Polio outbreaks, floods, major road accidents and severe food insecurities. The National Society is also an active participant in the fight against HIV."
