| Abstract: | ATNESA was formed in 1990 to improve information exchange and regional cooperation relating to animal draft power. The network aims to unite researchers, manufacturers, development workers, institutions and the users of animal traction in the region. The ATNESA steering committee initiates, coordinates and facilitates a variety of network arrangements, arranges international workshops in collaboration with national networks and other organisations. More than seven hundred papers and reports relating to animal traction are available from the 'country resources' pages on this website and from the 'thematic resources' pages, also workshop reports and papers of workshops, some in french.
